Today we remember Bach as an incredible composer, but during his lifetime, he was more famous as an amazing organist.  This is his most famous composition for organ.  (It's so famous, I'm sure you'll recognize it!) 
J.S. Bach's Invention No. 13 in A minor BWV 784
The piano was invented during Bach's lifetime.  Many of his keyboard pieces would have been originally performed on the harpsichord, a popular keyboard instrument of Bach's day.  How would you describe the harpsichord sound?
